Are Moroccan Lamps Available in Electric? There are a number of cases where you can find Moroccan lamps that double as electric lamps. These are useful because you don’t have to keep on gathering candles and cleaning out those candles from your lamp. You can use a lamp that features a light bulb setup attached to it. This is where you can illuminate a spot without having to worry about adding a candle. You might benefit from this option but you should know that there are not too many of these options available on the market. The reason for this is because the United States and Morocco have different wiring standards. These standards come from how these lamps are very different from each other in terms of the voltage standards used in each country. For example, the A and B types of electrical plugs are traditionally used around North America. Meanwhile, the C, E and F standards are used around Morocco and a large portion of both northern Africa and a good part of Europe.
This is not to say that you cannot find Moroccan lamps that feature electric wires. The fact is that you can use some lamps that are reconfigured to meet the same electrical standards used in the United States or Canada. Meanwhile, some lamps can be made with adapters used to convert the signals from a Moroccan wiring system to one that’s used in North America. You have to use an appropriate converter to give yourself something of benefit for any purpose. |
