Are Moroccan Lanterns in Platinum?

It is relatively hard to find Moroccan lanterns that are made with platinum materials. That’s especially because platinum is such a rare metal. The fact that it costs more for you to get platinum than it would for you to buy gold will only make it harder for you to find affordable lanterns with this exotic metal. However, there are some cases where you will find lanterns made with platinum bodies instead of traditional forms of steel among other common metals. These lanterns are designed with thick surfaces and can create beautiful shines that look like what you’d get out of silver. Platinum can even be mixed with other metal alloys to keep the cost of a lantern down if desired. Platinum is often added to these alloys to make them look stronger and more appealing.

In fact, you could find some lanterns that are made with at least ninety percent platinum. Platinum is much stronger than most other precious metals. It does not have a risk of melting or warping like gold does. In fact, platinum can be mixed with about five to ten percent metal alloy materials to create a durable and strong body. This means that platinum Moroccan lanterns will use twenty percent less metal alloys than what you’d find out of gold lanterns. Platinum is also harder to cut and scratch than gold but you should still take good care of your platinum lantern so it will last for a while and won’t end up being tarnished or potentially wear out after a period of time.
