Wattage Points for Moroccan LanternsAlthough it is true that most of these lanterns use candles, not all Moroccan lanterns can utilize them. Some of these lanterns might use light bulbs for illuminating them. These lanterns will use a traditional wiring system that links the lantern to an electrical outlet followed by a plug for a particular light bulb. It’s easier to use this than a candle but you still have to be careful when finding a lantern with the right wattage. First, you have to be sure that you check on the wattage of the lantern to see that it meets the standards that come in your country. Many of these electric lanterns have to be adjusted by manufacturers so they can meet certain international lighting standards. After all, the wattage standards that are used in Morocco are different from what is used in other parts of the world.
Also, most of these lanterns will be designed with the intention of using smaller bulbs that don’t use as many watts as other larger lighting applications. These lanterns might use bulbs that use less than seventy-five watts of power. It is a small amount but sometimes it might be easier for you to find LED bulbs that use less energy and heat when finding a bulb that will definitely use less power. Remember, anything that uses a certain amount of power or something less than that should be good enough. Always check the electric Moroccan lanterns that you might find when checking to see what you can add to your space. |
